🌟 Senior Spotlight: Shatha Foqahaa 🌟
Shatha plans to attend the University of South Alabama, majoring in Radiology. She is passionate about building a stable career dedicated to helping others—while continuing to grow, gain independence, and work toward long-term goals.
Throughout high school, Shatha was involved in DIMUN, Project Outreach, Yearbook, Kids Club, and Special Olympics. From strengthening communication and global awareness through DIMUN, to teamwork and storytelling in Yearbook and Project Outreach, to volunteering with Kids Club and Special Olympics, Shatha developed responsibility, patience, and empathy every step of the way.
Shatha is most proud of the growth achieved over the past four years—becoming more confident, improving academically, and persevering through challenges to stay focused on graduating.

Owen plans to attend Mississippi State University to study Aerospace Engineering. A dedicated member of Davidson Cross Country & Track all four years, Owen qualified for State in cross country every year and earned All-County honors this past season—highlighted by a 2nd place finish at Sectionals. Cross country taught him to push himself not just physically, but mentally as well.

Some of her proudest accomplishments include becoming an Azalea Trail Maid and joining a new volunteer group, The Creative Collective of Talents and Time.
Courtland says she will miss Ms. Morgan the most, sharing that she was always incredibly supportive of her goals and understanding of everything she needed.
Favorite high school memory? Hanging out backstage during the musicals.

Isabella is ready for her next chapter—stepping into the workforce with a focus on her career goals! During her time at Davidson, she was a proud member of NHS, served as Prop Head and Stage Crew in theater, and defended the goal as Varsity Soccer’s goalkeeper all four years. Isabella earned Best Tech at the state level with a three-member tech team and was honored with the Heart of the Warrior Award two years in a row for soccer. One of her favorite memories was making it to the playoffs with the varsity soccer team.

One of his biggest accomplishments was going 11–0 in Scholar’s Bowl and successfully completing IB.
Jackson gives a shoutout to Mr. Duke, whose class he looked forward to every single day.
His advice to underclassmen? “Do some homework every now and then.”

During her time at Davidson, Lexie participated in Theatre I–III, art, dance, color guard/marching band, and DIMUN. One of her proudest accomplishments has been choosing herself—and continuing to chase her goals.
Her favorite memory? Being in her first play—the rush of being the main character, the applause at the end, and celebrating that moment with loved ones.
Lexie says she’ll miss so many who tried to help her along the way: Mrs. Callais, Mrs. Schemensky, Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. Tucker, Mr. Jensen, Mr. Faris, and Nurse Ransom. A special shoutout goes to Mrs. Callais, whom Lexie describes as one of the best teachers anywhere—always caring, engaging, and inspiring students to learn.

Sean is headed to Auburn University to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering, all while continuing to sharpen his skills as a digital artist and filmmaker.
At Davidson, Sean stayed busy—and successful—being involved in IB, Boy Scouts, Cross Country, Robotics Club, DIMUN, TSA, Warrior Law, and Chess Club. He will earn his Eagle Scout rank by year’s end, placed 3rd in the Alabama Governor’s App Challenge, became an AP Scholar with Distinction, and landed Top 3 in the MCPSS Film Festival.
Sean credits Mr. Pouliot and Coach Daigle as major inspirations, pushing him to “do better and create better” in his two biggest passions—coding and filmmaking. One of his favorite memories was creating IB Portfolio Film with friends, traveling to different locations, and turning one of those short films into an award-winning project.
Another shoutout goes to Mr. Lowell, who helped Sean learn how to truly “lock in” as a student—and survived plenty of good-natured daily chaos in the process.
Best advice from Sean:

During his four years at Davidson, Corrian demonstrated outstanding leadership and growth as a member of the NJROTC Warrior Battalion, rising to Company Executive Officer and competing in drill competitions that required discipline and dedication. He also served as Secretary of the Black Student Union.
Corrian is most proud of stepping into leadership roles and pushing beyond his comfort zone—especially performing in the BSU Talent Show, a moment that proved he’s capable of more than he ever imagined. He's grateful for mentors like Senior Chief Jones, who he notes "taught me how to believe in myself, even when I felt like no one else did. He showed me how to be a leader, always have a plan, and never give up. He believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself, and that’s something I’ll carry with me." He also wants to thank Mrs. Henley "for always being there for me since I came to Davidson. She’s been like a second mom and someone I could always lean on. She is a 3-year Varsity Softball player, a proud member of the National Technical Honor Society, President of FCA and FCCLA, a Bryant Career Technical Center Ambassador, 2025 HOSA Secretary, Google Certified Educator (Levels 1 & 2), and holds CPR and CNA certifications. She also participated in USA Upward Bound, works as a cashier at Walmart, and is a proud member of 3 Circle Church Midtown.
Taylor is most proud of becoming a member of the National Technical Honor Society and earning her CNA certification.

History came alive for Davidson High School students at Alabama History Day on April 9th, hosted by the Alabama Humanities Alliance at beautiful American Village in Montevallo, AL. Joining students from across Alabama, they enjoyed a day of celebrating history and learning about our nation's founding at this replica village featuring Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and the Oval Office.

🌟 Senior Spotlight: Aubrie Norfus 🌟
Aubrie plans to attend the University of South Alabama. She was heavily involved in Yearbook and Black Student Union during her junior and senior years. In Yearbook, she did it all—taking photos, conducting interviews, and hand‑crafting graphics that brought the book to life. As a senior leader in BSU, Aubrie was involved with planning events and organizing meetings.
What she’s most proud of is her personal transformation—from an uninterested, uninvolved teenager into a proactive, motivated young adult who took control of her education and committed to success.
She will miss Mrs. Henley the most, who has been a constant source of support and encouragement, always believing in Aubrie and being there through big and small moments alike. Aubrie plans to attend the University of South Alabama. She was heavily involved in Yearbook and Black Student Union during her junior and senior years. In Yearbook, she did it all—taking photos, conducting interviews, and hand‑crafting graphics that brought the book to life. As a senior leader in BSU, Aubrie was involved with planning events and organizing meetings.
What she’s most proud of is her personal transformation—from an uninterested, uninvolved teenager into a proactive, motivated young adult who took control of her education and committed to success.
She will miss Mrs. Henley the most, who has been a constant source of support and encouragement, always believing in Aubrie and being there through big and small moments alike. Aireynna is headed to the University of South Alabama to major in Art! While at DHS, she shined in Visual Arts and Esports, competing on the Splatoon team and earning Runner-Up in Splatoon 3 (2024). She was also Voted Most Artistic by the Yearbook Committee and has showcased her artwork through multiple visual arts recognitions.
From competing statewide at Comic Con conventions to motivating her fellow competitors at ESports competitions, Aireynna was a team player. She gives special thanks to Dr. Tucker, whose dedication and support made field trips, competitions, and unforgettable moments possible.
